Tracking Tuition Costs

Please follow the path given below to activate Page II of Nomination form.

Enterprise Learning > Define Course/Cost Details > Course Sessions

Open the appropriate session for a course and go to "Expense" page (4th Tab) and select "Tuition" or "Basic" from the drop down list of expense type. Save this page and start nomination request process.

 It does not tell you on the session set up the cost of tuition BUT it will open the FUND OBLIGATION on the Nomination page.

COURSE SESSION COSTS are different than tuition.
This is where you define the specific costs for that course session. You may also want to add rows at the course session set up/EXPENSE tab - for INSTRUCTOR PER DIEM if you are including those costs when you do your final cost analysis on the COURSE SESSION COSTS component.

It's a little confusing here too because the tuition is actually a cost to the student and when you run the cost report you should see that amount as incoming dollars. But the cost of instructor per diem is an out going cost and should be reflected in the total cost of the course.
