Dispatch
Unit ID Field Here is a quick way to add Dispatch Unit Id to your IQCS data. Navigate to: Workforce Administration, Job Data. The Dispatch Unit Id is at the bottom of the Work Location tab on the Job Data page. At the Job Data search window, bring up your entire unit by entering your unit id in the Unit Id box. This will return a list of all your employees associated with this Unit Id. Select the first one in the list. Click on the yellow "+" button on the top right side of the screen. Set the Action/Reason to "Data Change", then enter or look up the Dispatch Unit Id in the Dispatch Unit Id box at the bottom of the Work Location page. Then "save". Copy the Dispatch Unit Id to your clipboard. Click on the yellow "next in list" button at the bottom of the page. This will bring up the next employee in your search list. Click the "+" button for a new record for this new employee and reset the Action/Reason and finally, "Paste" the Dispatch Unit Id in the appropriate box and "save". Then repeat this process for your entire unit. If you have more than 300 employees you will have to narrow your search. At the Job Data search window, in Last Name click on the blue check box and select "between" as your search criteria. This will bring up two boxes with an "and" in between them. Type the letter "a" in the first box then, estimating the size of your unit, type in the next letter in the alphabet that you want to search to, say the letter "f". This will bring up all the employees with the last names beginning with the letters between your search letters. Those of you with multiple organizations/units will have to do multiple searches.
